Require Inherently Safer Technology in High Risk Chemical Facilities

Ask President Obama to use his power to ensure that the Department of Homeland Security and the Environmental Protection Agency require the use of Inherently Safer Technology in high risk chemical and facilities. These agencies are behind schedule. We need to ensure that we take every possible measure to prevent chemical catastrophes. Remember, one out of every three Americans lives in the disaster zone of a high risk chemical facility, and 4.6 million children go to school one mile from a high risk chemical facility.
